“Flow storytelling cards” is a storytelling cards game.
The idea is to make up a story together, using the cards and letting your imagination fly. I have drawn each illustrated card with care, using watercolor, ink and digital media.
The cards are a fun activity for a family vacation and will make a unique gift for teachers and people who work with children.
The card games I make are for creating things together. The inspiration for making these card games comes from the fun, creative and insightful hours of playing and storytelling with my children.
The box contains:
----------------------
• 48 illustrated cards of characters, objects and places.
• 4 blank cards for drawing and adding your personal touch to the story.
• Detailed instructions for 2 playing options.
The cards are durable, printed on 300gr cardstock and laminated for extra protection.
The size of each card is 2.5x3.5” (6.5x8.5cm).
The box is made of recycled cardboard and its size is 3x4x1” (10.6x7.7x2.5cm).
Benefits:
-----------
The rich variety of images on the cards invites creativity and imagination to play.
As parents, playing storytelling games with your children is a fun way to communicate with them and learn what’s on their mind.
Creating a story together facilitates communication skills, team work and listening to each other, as well as cognitive skills as comprehension and integration.
The game also facilitates writing skills, as it motivates kids to write down the story they create.
Ages:
-------
The cards are flexible in their use and can fit different age groups ranging from preschoolers to elementary school children to teenagers and adults. Of course, the stories created by each age group would be different. The game is fun for parents and children, for kids to play on their own, and for teachers.
